Abstract: Entrepreneurs start companies with a big dream about a real problem with a large addressable market and find a distinctively different solution. Flawless execution with best quality, on-time delivery and affordable cost over and over again makes companies sustainable. Businesses need to be profitable from day one or within a defined period. Multiple strategies are required to scale business globally. Constant innovation with process efficiency, business model and now with product to make sure the business is ahead of competition always. Never loose focus on values. With these core principals in 25 years, we built a company from a modest beginning of 4 engineers from my home to 15,000 engineers globally. I will share my experiences in this 25 year journey of mine Biography: Dr. B.V.R. Mohan Reddy holds a graduate degree in mechanical engineering from the College of Engineering, Kakinada, India, and postgraduate degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur and the University of Michigan. He has also received an Honorary Doctorate (Ph.D.) from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science from the Andhra University, and Doctor of Science Honoris Causa from KL University in India. Dr. Reddy is a Fellow of The Institute of Engineers (India). His passion for social responsibility inspired him to establish the Cyient Foundation (formerly Infotech Enterprises Charitable Trust). As part of its Adopt-a-School initiative, the Cyient Foundation adopted 14 government primary schools and is providing financial, infrastructural, and social support to over 10,000 underprivileged children. Cyient also focuses on promoting digital literacy in India and has established 54 Cyient Digital Centers (CDCs), aimed to empower more than 20,000 children and 50,000 community members. |
