Inauguration of 3rd edition of the Entrepreneurial Conclave of IIT Bhubaneswar, E-Summit 2018

3rd edition of the Entrepreneurial Conclave of IIT Bhubaneswar, E-Summit 2018 was inaugurated on 19th January 2018 evening by Prof. R.V. Rajakumar, Honourable Director, IIT Bhubaneswar. Shri Srikumar Mishra  (CEO Milk Mantra)  graced the occasion as Guest of Honour. The programme was presided by Prof. R.V. Rajakumar, Honourable Director of the Institute.

A prelude to the summit, Vision Night was graced by Shri Sumit Kumar Chand( Vice President,  Machine Learning Innovation), Shri Prasanjeet Pati(MD, Afixi Technologies pvt. Ltd.), Shri J. K. Rath (Director, Mechem Pvt Ltd), Mr. N. D. Rao (Sr. Vice-President, Jindal steel), Prof P.K.J Mohapatra (Professor, IIT Bhubaneswar).The guests shared different perspectives and future implications on the theme of the summit “Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Digital Era”. This was followed by a symbolic lamp lighting event by Prof. R V Rajakumar, Director, IIT Bhubaneswar and Guest of honour in the spirit of entrepreneurial exuberance.

This was followed by a brief overview of all the events to be held in the 3 days summit by the Chairman, Dr. Rajan Jha. The gathering was then addressed by Director, IIT Bhubaneswar where-in he highlighted the importance of entrepreneurs in today’s competitive world and quoted entrepreneurs as the nation’s pride. Then the Guest of Honour, Mr. Srikumar Mishra who took the gathering to an entrepreneurial world and briefed the students about what it is and how to be an entrepreneur.

The event was concluded by a vote of thanks from the Chief Co-ordinator of the Summit, Santosh Mutyala.
