Cinewave, the cinematics society of IIT Bhubaneswar has won the 48 hour filmmaking competition in IIT Delhi's Cultural Festival Rendezvous 2015 in the  theme "Freedom" defeating all other teams from across the country including teams from IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur and IIT Kharaghpur etc.

 

Film Synopsis:
What is the meaning of freedom? Does someone have freedom just because they don’t have any physical restriction on them? Does everyone enjoy this freedom? Or is it only for a few chosen? Does someone have less freedom of thought just because society has put restrictions on their actions? This is a short film about two young men and the society’s and their own perception about the extent of the freedom that their mind enjoys.
