Dr. Rajan Jha, faculty member in physics in the School of Basic Sciences, IIT Bhubaneswar has been elected as a member in the Executive Council, Optical Society of India for the year 2015-2016 (Period: 1st April 2015 - 31st March 2016) at the XLVIII Annual General Meeting of the Society held on February 20, 2015 at Calcutta University, Kolkata.
