Prof. NPH Padmanabhan was awarded on 14-12-2013 with VASVIK Award for the year 2009 under the category of Chemical Sciences and Technology. The Award carries a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000, which was shared with another co-awardee, Shri Sandip Kumar Ghosh of BARC, Mumbai.
