Dr. Rajan Jha, Assistant Professor of Physics from School of Basic Sciences has been awarded and selected as an Associates of Indian Academy Of Sciences, Bangalore. Associates scheme was initiated in 1983 to encourage talented young scientists in the country. Under this scheme recognition is accorded to a very small number of talented scientists below the age of 35 years to be an Associate of the Academy. His research interest is in the area of Nanophotonics and Plasmonics.
