A five-day programme titled “The Power of Gender Equality” commenced on June 30, 2025, at the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, in collaboration with the Heartfulness Centre, Hyderabad. This FDP is convened and coordinated by Dr. Sreetama Misra (SHSSM), Dr. Debasree Purkayastha (SIF), Dr. Manaswini Behera (SIF) from the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, and Dr. Sushama Viladkar from the Heartfulness Institute. The event began at 8:30 AM, bringing together 31 participants and seven distinguished dignitaries. The session featured several dignitaries, including the Chief guest Mrs. Shruti Karmalkar, Advisor to Residents’ Clubs; Prof. Hemlata Reddy from the Heartfulness Trust; Prof. Shreepad Karmalkar, Director, IIT Bhubaneswar; Prof. Rajesh Roshan Dash, Dean of Student Affairs, IIT Bhubaneswar; Prof. Sumanta Halder, HoS, SIF; and Dr. Amrita Satpathy, HoS, SHSSM. The five-day programme focused on sensitizing participants to gender issues and promoting inclusive practices.
