- Its easy to fabricate. It takes about 10 minutes to make one face shield for an individual. The time can be brought down if the exercise is carried out on a larger scale involving a larger number of people.
- Uses common stationery items such as transparency sheet, double sided adhesive tape, plastic wire and plain cloth
- It is amenable for further innovation such as application of anti-microbial coatings on the transparency sheet. We are working towards development of the anti-microbial coatings.
