Biosketch

Dr. Santhoshkumar G is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar. He obtained his Ph.D. and M.Tech. degrees from IIT Kanpur, after completing his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) at GCT-Anna University.

With over five years of teaching and research experience, Dr. Santhoshkumar has made significant contributions to both academia and industry. Before his academic career, he spent more than two years engaged in field and industrial consultancy. He has published research in over 15 journals and presented at four conference proceedings.

His research interests encompass numerical and analytical methods in geomechanics, with a focus on topics such as retaining systems, rigid pavements, skirted footings, interaction effects, and the effects of earthquakes on geotechnical structures. Additionally, he has conducted extensive analyses of pile foundations and ground improvement methods.
