Biosketch

                Dr.Basu is currently a faculty member at School of Infrastructure, IIT Bhubaneswar. Prior to joining at IIT as Assistant Professor, Dr. Basu worked as Postdoctoral Research Employee at University of California at Davis.  Dr. Basu’s core research interest focuses on problem solving approaches relating to evaluation of Transportation System, which is primarily encompassing varied types & nature of modelling techniques, & data-science approaches. Dr. Basu is also having an avid inclination towards Travel Behaviour Analysis, Choice Modelling,  analysis of large datasets in RDBMS environment, application of MCDM, Transport Economics.etc.  He was actively involved in various projects of the MoE - “Future of Cities”, IMPRINT India Initiative.
