Cyber Physical Systems (CPS) integrate sensing, computation, control and networking into physical objects and infrastructure, connecting them to the Internet and to each other. CPS involves a feedback loop system that acts as a stimulus to the communication, control, and computing environment (the 3 Cs of CPS). In today’s digital world with advanced computing and communication platforms, the CPS has a significant impact on different implementation areas such as transportation, healthcare, power grid, defense, agriculture, warehouse and inventory, supply chain etc. AI/ML technology will be used to develop efficient and scalable embedded computing logic, network protocols and control algorithms for the automation of CPS. AHRC will develop efficient software models and systems for real-time monitoring and control, on-the-fly routing, load balancing, fault analysis, protection and security towards effective deployment of cyber physical systems.
