School of Electrical Sciences M. Tech thesis got POSOCO Power System Awards-2018

SES M. Tech Scholar  Shreyasi Som has been selected for the prestigious POSOCO Power System Awards-2018 in “Masters” Category.

POSOCO Power System Award (PPSA) is an initiative to recognize and reward innovative technical research excellence in power system by discovering and encouraging fresh Doctoral/Masters research accomplishments in power system and related field. This project is a joint venture of Power System Operation Corporation (POSOCO), a subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (POWERGRID), and Foundation for Innovation & Technology Transfer (FITT), IIT, Delhi.

Shreyasi Som carried out research on “Low Voltage DC Micro-Grid Protection” under the supervision of Dr S R Samantaray.

Shreyasi  will receive a cash award of Rs 40,000 and  a citation.
