School of Electrical Sciences Doctoral Thesis got "Typhoon HIL Dissertation Awards-2021"

SES PhD research scholar Nikhil Kumar Sharma has been selected for the Typhoon HIL Dissertation Awards-2021 in Doctoral Category.

The Typhoon HIL Inc. Switzerland instituted the “Typhoon HIL Dissertation Awards (THILDA)” since 2021 to appreciate and give an early recognition to the efforts of the students working in the area of Electrical & Electronics Engineering and who have utilized Typhoon HIL software/hardware to provide a real-time solution to complex engineering problems.

Nikhil carried out research on “Development of New Protection Schemes for Microgrid” under the supervision of Dr S R Samantaray.

He will receive a cash award of Rs 25,000 and a citation from Typhoon HIL.
