Recent work from Dr. Hemant Kumar’s group in collaboration with Professor Abhay N. Pasupathy at Columbia University, USA has appeared in Nature Physics. In the manuscript titled “Tunable strain soliton networks confine electrons in van der Waals materials”, we have demonstrated a strain-engineered approach to create on-demand trap potentials for exciton in vdW heterostructures.
